Ajay Devgn’s latest film Raid 2 has become a massive box office success, crossing the ₹200 crore mark worldwide. According to a report by India Today, the film has grossed Rs 201.50 crore globally, with a solid Rs177.50 crore gross coming from the Indian box office alone.

This achievement makes Raid 2 only the second Bollywood film of 2025 to enter the Rs 200 crore club after Chhaava. Domestically, the film has raked in ₹151.50 crore in nett collections within just 19 days of release, confirming its status as a clean hit at the ticket window.

Directed by Rajkumar Gupta, Raid 2 continues the story from the 2018 hit Raid, which had earned ₹154 crore worldwide in its entire lifetime run. The sequel not only surpassed its predecessor’s performance but also became Devgn’s eighth entry into the ₹200 crore club, and his first after Singham Again, which released during Diwali last year.

Despite a minor dip in performance due to rising geopolitical tensions between India and Pakistan and the release of Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, Raid 2 has been running better than expected, proving its strong hold on the audience.

The day-wise India nett box office figures further highlight the film’s consistent run: Rs 95.75 crore in Week 1, Rs 40.6 crore in Week 2, followed by Rs 3 crore on Friday, Rs 4.25 crore on Saturday, Rs 5.65 crore on Sunday, and Rs 2.25 crore on Monday.

Raid 2 has also contributed to a positive trend in the Hindi film industry, being the sixth Indian film this year to surpass the Rs 200 crore benchmark globally. The film stars Riteish Deshmukh, Vani Kapoor, and Saurabh Shukla in key roles alongside Devgn.

With its strong numbers, positive word of mouth, and ongoing theatrical run, Raid 2 is expected to continue minting profits in the days to come — solidifying its place as one of 2025’s top box office successes.
