Several key candidates are in the fray across 17 constituencies of Telangana in the ongoing Lok Sabha elections. Three seats are reserved for scheduled castes (SCs) and two seats are reserved for scheduled tribes (STs). The elections took place in a single phase on May 13th. The Lok Sabha elections in Telangana are a three-way fight between the K.Chandrasekhar Rao-led BRS, the INDIA bloc and the BJP.

Hyderabad: Traditionally a stronghold of AIMIM, led by Asaduddin Owaisi, this constituency is expected to see a tough contest with other parties aiming to make inroads. He is up against BJP's fiery candidate Madhavi Latha.Secunderabad: G. Kishan Reddy of the BJP is a prominent candidate here. He faces a strong challenge from Danam Nagender of the Congress​ .Nizamabad: This constituency features a significant battle between Dharmapuri Arvind (BJP) and T. Jeevan Reddy (Congress).
