The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has seen a significant increase in its vote share in Telangana since 2018, positioning it as a political heavyweight in the state. The BJP is framing the upcoming elections as a critical assessment of the Congress's administration, taking advantage of the popularity of the Prime Minister. The party has announced its candidate list for all 17 parliamentary constituencies, signalling a strategic offensive. The list includes the incumbent MP for Karimnagar, Bandi Sanjay, reflecting the party's commitment to holding its ground.
The BJP has also been making inroads into regions with significant Adivasi populations and has consistently made progress in Assembly elections. This underscores its intention to establish these Lok Sabha elections as a pivotal moment in its trajectory within Telangana.
The party's tactical approach is evident in its decision to retain three of its four sitting MPs: Bandi Sanjay in Karimnagar, Dharmapuri Arvind in Nizamabad, and G Kishen Reddy in Secunderabad. While it has opted for a change in Adilabad, the party has placed confidence in former BRS MP BB Patil for Zahirabad.

Konda Vishweshwar Reddy, who has notably transitioned from BRS to BJP and now Congress, has been chosen to contest from Chevella - a constituency he previously represented under the KCR-led party in the 2014 elections. This strategic candidate reshuffling by the BJP demonstrates its adaptive election strategy and reflects Telangana's dynamic nature of political loyalties.
