There is a four-way battle in Punjab.

Indian National Congress won five seats from Kerala's Malabar region and remaining two seats were won by Indian Union Muslim League candidates, as per Election Commission of India's data.

INC's Rajmohan Unnithan from Kasaragod won by 100649 margins, INC's K. Raghavan won from Kozhikode by 146176 margin, as per ECI's data.

Further, Indian Union Muslim League's E.T. Mohammed Basheer from Malappuram and DR. M.P Abdussamad Samadani from Ponnani won by 300118 and 235760 margin.

Trend at 3:00PM: Indian National Congress continues its leading position on the most constituencies in the Malanar region of Kerala at 3:00PM, according to the Election Commission of India's (ECI) data.

This was followed by Indian Union Muslim League candidates on two seats.

Kasaragod, Kannur, Vadakara, Wayanad, Kozhikode, Mallapuram, and Ponnani, are Lok Sabha constituencies in Malabar region.

Trend at 10:30AM: Indian National Congress (INC) candidates are leading on most seats in Kerala's Malabar region at 10:30 AM.

At 10:30 AM, INC's Rajmohan Unnithan is leading on Kasaragod seat by 2700 votes, K. Sudharan is leading from Kannur by 12245 votes, Shafi Parambil is leading from Vadakara seat by 18566 votes, Rahul Gandhi is leading from Wayanad by 80203 votes, and M. K. Malabar region becomes significant because INDIA alliance leader Rahul Gandhi is contesting from Wayanad. Also, majority of the seats has been won by INC in 2019 elections.

In 2019, Kasaragod seat was won by Rajmohan Unnithan of Indian National Congress, Kannur seat by K Sudjhakaran of INC, Vadakara seat by K Muraleedharan of INC, Wayanad seat by Rahul Gandhi of INC, and Kozhikode seat by MK Raghavan of INC.

Kerala has been a Congress stronghold in the past Lok Sabha elections.

The 2024 Lok Sabha elections is crucial for both the Indian National Congress (INC) and the NDA in Kerala. With 20 Lok Sabha constituencies in contention, the state saw polling on April 26, achieving a voter turnout of 70.35%, down from 77.84% in 2019.

In the 2019 polls, the INC secured a majority of seats in the state, while the NDA failed to win a single one. There is a direct contest between the Congress-led United Democratic Front (UDF) and the CPI(M)-led Left Democratic Front (LDF) in the state. The NDA votes could play a crucial role in determining whether the UDF can replicate its 2019 performance.
