Polling for the third phase of the Lok Sabha elections in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, has seen a 60.05 % voter turnout in six hours, and in 2019, it was 64.44 % of voter. Representing the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is Tokhan Sahu, while the Indian National Congress (INC) has fielded Devender Singh Yadav as its candidate. Bilaspur, known as the law capital of the state, is the second-largest city in Chhattisgarh. It was a part of Madhya Pradesh from 1952 to 1999. Later the constituency became a part of Chhattisgarh. The Bilaspur Lok Sabha constituency includes eight Assembly seats, which include Kota, Takhatpur, Beltara, Lormi, Bilha, Masturi (SC), Mungeli (SC) and Bilaspur.

The BJP has dominated this region since 1989, winning this seat in eight out of the last nine elections (excluding 1991). BJPs Punnulal Mohle has won four consecutive times from Bilaspur.
