AP Polls Highlights: Andhra Pradesh's elections have finished campaigning, and Monday's polls will determine the state's 25 Lok Sabha seats in addition to the 175-member legislature. In the fight for the Assembly and Lok Sabha seats, YSRCP, TDP, and Janasena are in close combat with each other.
With 25 Lok Sabha seats and 175 Assembly seats up for grabs, the YSRCP has entered the election race.
The following Andhra Pradesh constituencies will go to polls today: Araku (ST), Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, Anakapalli, Kakinada, Amalapuram (SC), Rajahmundry, Narsapuram, Eluru, Machilipatnam, Vijayawada, Guntur, Narasaraopet, Bapatla (SC), Ongole, Nandyal, Kurnool, Nellore, Thirupati (SC), Rajampet, Chittoor (SC), Hindupur, Anantapur, Kadapa.
Voting will take place from early in the morning until late in the evening, giving all eligible voters plenty of time to submit their votes. Ensuring the seamless execution of the electoral process while upholding the impartiality and integrity of the elections is the responsibility of the Election Commission of India in collaboration with several stakeholders.
There will be a number of important elections in Andhra Pradesh in the upcoming Lok Sabha Election 2024 Phase 4, with candidates from a wide range of political backgrounds.
The Election Commission has deployed 1.06 lakh security personnel to ensure a peaceful conduct of the polls. Among them are 3,500 police officers from Karnataka, 4,500 police officers from Tamil Nadu, 1,614 ex-servicemen, and 246 retired police officers.
With a few exceptions, where it will end one or two hours earlier, the polls will open at 7 AM and close at 6 PM throughout the state.
The southern state has 4.14 crore voters overall, made up of 2.02 crore men, 2.1 crore women, 3,421 voters of third gender, and 68,185 service electors.

- The Vijayawada Parliamentary constituency has emerged as the battleground between brothers K Srinivas of Andhra Pradesh's ruling YSRCP and K Sivanath, candidate of the main opposition TDP in the May 13 Lok Sabha polls.
- While Srinivas is a seasoned politician, a transport tycoon-turned-politician, his younger brother Sivanath, also a businessman, is trying his electoral luck for the first time.
