PM Modi impressed by Kerala student’s fluent Hindi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi was pleasantly surprised during this year’s Pariksha Pe Charcha when a student from Kerala, Akansha, greeted him in flawless Hindi. Delighted by her fluency, the Prime Minister couldn’t resist asking her how she had mastered the language so well.

To this, Akansha humbly responded, "I love Hindi a lot," revealing that her passion for the language also extends to writing Hindi poetry. Her response intrigued PM Modi, leading to an engaging exchange where she recited one of her original compositions.

Akansha’s Thought-Provoking Shayari

Akansha’s poem beautifully captured the inner conflicts of a writer searching for inspiration. Her words resonated with deep emotion and self-reflection:

"Itna shor hai in bazaaron mein, itna shor hain in gailyon mein, kyun tu apni kalam lekar baitha hai fir ek ghazal likhne, fir us kitaab ke panno par tu likhna kya chahta hai, aisa kya hai tere man mein, sawalon bhare tere man mein ek syahi shayad jawab likh rahi hai, fir kyun tu aasman dekhta hai, aisa kya hai in sitaron mein, aisa kya hai tere man mein."

As she continued her recital, the audience was captivated by her lyrical expression, and PM Modi praised her ability to articulate complex thoughts through poetry.

Akansha’s love for Hindi, despite hailing from Kerala, serves as an example of how languages can bridge cultures rather than divide them.

This edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha marked a departure from the usual town hall-style discussion. Instead, PM Modi took 36 students to Delhi’s scenic Sunder Nursery, engaging in a more personal and interactive conversation about exam stress, effective preparation, and handling pressure.

Through this initiative, PM Modi continues to inspire students by encouraging a stress-free approach to exams, nurturing their passions, and celebrating India’s linguistic and cultural diversity.
