Unable to afford coaching or study materials, Sreenath used his smartphone and the free WiFi at the railway station to access online resources, videos, and mock tests.

In 2016, the government introduced free WiFi at Mumbai Central Railway Station, which became a game-changer for Sreenath’s studies, enabling him to study during his free time.

With just his phone, memory card, earbuds, and determination, Sreenath made the most of the resources available to him to achieve his educational goals.

After rigorous preparation, Sreenath cleared the Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC) exam, securing a government job and marking his first major achievement.

Sreenath didn’t stop at just one success. He set his sights on the UPSC Civil Services Examination, a goal that seemed far-fetched but not impossible for someone so determined.

After three unsuccessful attempts, Sreenath finally cleared the UPSC exam on his fourth try, fulfilling his dream of becoming an IAS officer.
