CBSE Denies Fake Paper Claim Allegations

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has firmly refuted claims of a paper leak in the Class 12 Physical Education examination conducted on February 17, 2025. The Board dismissed the allegations as 'fake and misleading' after a YouTube channel named 'Zaki Saudar' circulated unverified reports of the exam paper being leaked.

This incident comes amid a recent surge in false claims about paper leaks on social media platforms, including YouTube, Facebook, and X. CBSE has been actively monitoring these platforms and has issued multiple warnings against the dissemination of unverified information. In an official notice released earlier, the Board cautioned students and parents against believing or sharing such rumours, emphasizing that these claims are propagated by malicious actors aiming to destabilize the examination process.

To combat the spread of misinformation, CBSE has intensified its collaboration with law enforcement agencies to identify and take legal action against individuals or groups responsible for circulating false claims. The Board has also warned that students found involved in such activities will face severe consequences under its UNFAIR MEANS rules, which could include disqualification from exams and legal prosecution under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

In a public advisory, CBSE urged parents to guide their children against engaging with unverified information on social media. "Parents are requested to counsel their children to rely only on official communications from CBSE for accurate updates. Spreading or believing in false information can lead to unnecessary stress and legal repercussions," the advisory stated.

CBSE has reiterated that all official updates and communications are available on its website (www.cbse.gov.in) and verified social media channels. The Board has assured students and parents that the examination process is being conducted with the highest level of integrity and security.

As the Class 12 board exams continue, CBSE has appealed to all stakeholders to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity related to exam conduct.
