Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) announced on Monday that virtual information display (VID) kiosks have been installed at Indira Gandhi International (IGI) airport, providing passengers with real-time flight updates and simplifying navigation within the airport.

The kiosks, located at both Terminals 1 and 3, will assist first-time flyers by providing directions to the appropriate boarding gate, along with details of amenities, shops, and kiosks along the way, according to officials.

“The VID kiosk offers real-time flight updates with a simple scan of the boarding pass – providing an instant, stress-free way to stay informed. With intuitive 3D maps and live location tracking, navigating through the terminal becomes effortless. Passengers can easily find their boarding gate, discover the nearest restaurants, shops, or amenities, and explore the airport,” a DIAL spokesperson said.

According to the statement by the DIAL, the kiosks will allow 24x7 customer support through video calls. If a passenger has a question, needs help, or just feels unsure, VID connects him instantly to a customer service agent via a video call. Whether it is flight assistance, navigating the terminal or inquiring about services, this direct connection ensures passengers are never left in the dark.
