According to reports, the museum is built on the Chaudah Kosi Parikrama Marg and represents a Rs 6 crore investment. The two-storey, fully air-conditioned structure spans 9,850 square feet and will house 50 lifelike wax statues depicting key figures from the epic, including Lord Ram, Sita, Lakshman, Hanuman and Ravan.

The museum is designed to take visitors on a chronological journey through the Ramayana. The ground floor will feature scenes from Lord Ram’s childhood up to Sita’s swayamvar, while the first floor will depict the period of exile, Sita’s abduction, the burning of Lanka (Lanka Dahan) and the final battle between Ram and Ravan.
