Jeep Compass, Meridian Trail Editions launched, price starts at Rs 25.41 lakh

Jeep India today announced the launch of the limited-period Trail Editions of Compass and Meridian SUVs. The Trail Editions are based on the Compass Longitude (O) and the Meridian Limited (O) trims.

Both SUVs employ the same 2.0-litre turbo-diesel engine, which produces 170 hp of maximum power and 350 Nm of peak torque. The transmission options include a 9-speed automatic and a 6-speed manual. There are 4X2 and 4X4 options.

The following are the prices (ex-showroom) of the Trail Editions.

The Jeep Compass Trail Edition comes with new Trail Edition hood and side body decals, matte black grille accents, and Neutral Grey elements across the exterior components, including grille rings, DLO and backlight mouldings, roof rail inserts, ORVMs, Jeep and Compass badges, rear lower fascia applique, and red-accented front lower fascia. The SUV drives on Granite Metallic Satin Gloss 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels.

Inside the cabin, there is black leatherette upholstery with Ignite Red mid-bolster tracers on the dashboard, red contrast stitching on the steering wheel, gear boot, and seat upholstery. There is also a new Dark Camouflage graphic.

The Jeep Meridian Trail Edition boasts a signature hood decal, Trail Edition badging, and a high-gloss black roof. The exterior gets Neutral Grey accents on the grille, headlamp surrounds, roof rail inserts, rear fascia valence, badges and side cladding applique. You also get Piano Black accents on fog lamp surrounds, DLO, rear lightbar moulding, ORVMs and rear lower fascia.
