Citroën India after announcing the launch of SUV Coupé Basalt earlier has finally revealed the price of all the variants of the car and also when it will be available for delivery by the company. Citroën announced that the deliveries of the Basalt will begin from the first week of September,2024 through the 85 La Maison Citroën phygital showrooms in the country.
Basalt is now available at an exclusive introductory starting price of Rs 7.99 lakh, this special pricing is valid for all bookings with deliveries till 31 October 2024, according to Citroën India.
Citroën Basalt will be available in five monotone colors: Garnet Red, Cosmo Blue, Polar White, Platinum Grey and Steel Grey. For an added touch of style, a black dual-tone roof option is offered with Polar White and Garnet Red.
Price of Basalt
The top-end variant of Basalt will cost Rs 13,62,000. Basalt will be available in six variants 1.2 NA YOU,1.2 NA PLUS,1.2 TURBO PLUS,1.2 TURBO AT PLUS,1.2 TURBO MAX,1.2 TURBO AT MAX and it cost Rs 7,99,000,Rs 9,99,000,Rs 11,49,000,Rs 12,79,000,12,28,000,13,62,000 respectively.The dual tone will also be available in Max variants at an additional cost of Rs 21,000.
Features of Basalt
Baslat will be coming with the Advanced Comfort suspension system, a first-in-segment Smart Tilt Cushion offers unparalleled comfort for all passengers. The Basalt’s tropicalized auto AC, complete with rear vents. Basalt offers a ground clearance of 180 mm.
Basalt will have a 26 cm Citroën Connect Infotainment system with Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay integration keeps you connected, while the My Citroën Connect 2.0 offers over 40 smart features, including remote engine start and geo-fencing. It is also equipped with six standard airbags, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Hill Hold Control, and Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS).
Engine of Basalt
It features the advanced 1.2 L Gen 3 PURETECH 110 turbo and PURETECH 82 engines, delivering up to 110ps and 205Nm of torque. Drivers can choose between 5MT, 6MT, and 6AT configurations.
