CNBC-TV18 spoke to Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar on the drought impact on food stocks. Pawar said while paddy and sugarcane crops were affected, the government had made efforts to up production of wheat and rice. "The government of India today has a stock of next 13 months of wheat and rice."
