ONGC - Change in Directorate - Appointment of New Director

Oil & Natural Gas Corporation Ltd has informed BSE that pursuant to Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Govt. of India letter dated August 03, 2012, Shri A. Giridhar, Joint Secretary (Exploration), Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas (MoP&NG), has been appointed as a Government Director on the Board of ONGC, in place of Shri Sudhir Bhargava, Addl. Secy, MoP&NG, with effect from August 03, 2012.

Further the Company informed that, as per disclosure received by ONGC, Shri A. Giridhar and his dependents do not hold any equity shares in ONGC as on August 03, 2012 i.e. date of his appointment on the Board of ONGC.
