News Verification : The media had reports that West Coast Paper Mills Limited has decided to sell its newsprint unit, Rama Newsprint and Papers Limited. The Exchange, in order to verify the accuracy or otherwise of the information reported in the media and to inform the market place so that the interest of the investors is safeguarded, had written to the company. West Coast Paper Mills Limited has vide its letter inter-alia stated,"We do not want to comment on speculative media reports and in case of any development, which has bearing on the operation/performance of the company including price sensitive information, then we will inform to you as required under the Listing Agreement."
