BALKRISHNA INDUSTRIES LIMITED Outcome of Board Meeting

Balkrishna Industries Limited has informed the Exchange that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on May 30, 2012, inter alia, took the following decisions : (1) The Board has accepted the resignation of Shri Dharaprasad R. Poddar, the Chairman from the Board of Directors of the Company, w.e.f. May 30, 2012 and appointed him as Chairman Emeritus; (2) The Board has accepted the resignation of Shri Anurag Poddar, the Executive Director from the Board of Directors of the Company, w.e.f. May 30, 2012; (3) The Board has re-designated Shri Arvind M. Poddar as Chairman & Managing Director on the Board of Directors of the Company w.e.f. May 30, 2012; (4) The Board has appointed Smt Vijaylaxmi Poddar as Executive Director on the Board of Directors of the Company w.e.f. May 30, 2012.
