Tata Chemicals Ltd has announced the following Standalone results for the quarter & year ended March 31, 2012:

The Audited results for the Quarter ended March 31, 2012

The Company has posted a net profit after tax of Rs. 1851.10 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2012 as compared to Rs. 738.20 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2011. Total Income has increased from Rs. 13988.10 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2011 to Rs. 21980.50 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2012.

The Audited results for the Year ended March 31, 2012

The Company has posted a net profit after tax of Rs. 5866.00 million for the year ended March 31, 2012 as compared to Rs. 4084.90 million for the year ended March 31, 2011. Total Income has increased from Rs. 64408.90 million for the year ended March 31, 2011 to Rs. 82676.10 million for the year ended March 31, 2012.
