HDIL - Announces Q4 & FY12 results

Housing Development and Infrastructure Ltd has announced the following results for the quarter & year ended March 31, 2012:

The Audited results for the Quarter ended March 31, 2012

The Company has posted a net profit of Rs. 966.70 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2012 as compared to Rs. 1973.10 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2011. Total Income has decreased from Rs. 5476.20 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2011 to Rs. 2088.10 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2012.

The Audited results for the Year ended March 31, 2012

The Company has posted a net profit of Rs. 3869.70 million for the year ended March 31, 2012 as compared to Rs. 8964.10 million for the year ended March 31, 2011. Total Income has decreased from Rs. 19227.60 million for the year ended March 31, 2011 to Rs. 10666.70 million for the year ended March 31, 2012.

The Group has posted a net profit after taxes, minority interest and share of associates of Rs. 3155.10 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2012 as compared to Rs. 1852.10 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2011. Total Income has increased from Rs. 5586.90 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2011 to Rs. 6497.90 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2012.

The Audited consolidated results for the Year ended March 31, 2012

The Group has posted a net profit after taxes, minority interest and share of associates of Rs. 8098.30 million for the year ended March 31, 2012 as compared to Rs. 8217.50 million for the year ended March 31, 2011. Total Income has increased from Rs. 18966.00 million for the year ended March 31, 2011 to Rs. 20576.60 million for the year ended March 31, 2012.
