Escorts - Equity Shareholders to approve Scheme of Arrangement

Escorts Ltd has informed BSE that by an order made on the April 18, 2012, the Hon’ble High Court of Punjab and Haryana at Chandigarh, has directed that a meeting of the Equity Shareholders of the Petitioner Company 4 / Transferee Company, be held at Hotel K. C. Cross Road, Site No.1, Sector 10, Opposite Bus Stand, Panchkula - 134 113, (Haryana) on May 20, 2012 at 11.00 am., for the purpose of considering, and if thought fit, approving with or without modification(s), the Scheme of Arrangement and Amalgamation of Escorts Construction Equipment Limited; and Escotrac Finance and Investments Private Limited; and Escorts Finance Investments and Leasing Private Limited with Escorts Limited and their Respective Shareholders and Creditors (hereinafter referred to as “the Scheme").
