Godrej Ind - Options lapsed & Exercise of Options

Godrej Industries Ltd has informed BSE that:

"1. The Compensation Committee has noted/approved lapse of 1,36,250 Options under GIL ESOP I and 10,000 Options under GIL ESOP II, due to resignation of employees.

2. The exchanges are informed that 12,000 Options have been exercised by an option grantee under GIL ESOP II. The total number of options exercised under the GIL ESOP II till date is 12,000.

Please note that since the options granted under the GIL ESOP 11 scheme are administered through GIL ESOP Trust (Trust) whereby shares are purchased by the Trust from the open market on the options granted by the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors, there is no change in the issued, subscribed or paid-up capital of the Company on account of exercise of the options."
