Indsil Hydro - Updates on Hydro Electric Power Plant
Indsil Hydro Power and Manganese Ltd has informed BSE that the Company's 21 MW Captive Hydro Electric Power Plant has successfully been registered under the Central Renewable Energy Certificates (REC) Mechanism with effect from January 16, 2012. The energy generated from January 16, 2012 shall be eligible for Renewable Energy Certificates which are tradable and saleable credit certificates and these certificates will be traded through Power Exchanges within a predetermined Floor and Forbearance price. The Company’s Power Plant is the first private generating station from Kerala to be registered under the REC Mechanism.
