Khatau - Outcome of AGM

Khatau Makanji Spinning & Weaving Company Ltd has informed BSE that the members at the 136th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Company held on September 17, 2011, inter alia, has considered and approved the following;

1. Approved the Audited Annual Accounts for the year ended March 31, 2011 and the Report of Auditors and Directors thereon.

2. Re-appointed Ms. Aparna Khatau as Director of the Company. She was retiring by rotation and being eligible had offered herself for re-appointment.

3. Re-appointed Ms. Reena Khatau as Director of the Company. She was retiring by rotation and being eligible had offered herself for re-appointment.

4. Re-appointed M/s. Sorab S. Engineer & Co., Chartered Accountants as Statutory Auditors of the Company. They shall hold their office from the conclusion of 136th AGM till the conclusion of 137th AGM.

5. Approved the resolution authorizing the Board of Directors of the Company to make loans / invest in shares of various Companies upto Rs. 5 crores from time to time.
