SRF - Minor fire at the Company's Continuous polymerization plant at Indore

SRF Ltd has informed BSE that that there was a minor fire at the Company''s Continuous polymerization plant at Indore on November 05, 2010.

While the impact of the incident is being ascertained, the damaged equipments are fully covered by way of insurance and the necessary claim will be made immediately.

It is expected that the plant would be fully operational with in 4 weeks. However, since this is only a raw material manufacturing facility, it is not expected to have any material impact either on the operations or on the profitability of the Polyester Film Division since the raw material will be procured from the merchant market.
