by the Audit Committee and
recommended to the Board and taken on record at the meeting of the
Board of Directors of the
Company held on July 31, 2009.

2. The Company has paid on May
21, 2009 a dividend of Rs 2.20
per equity share of Rs 2 each on 211908375 equity shares for the year
ended on December 31, 20089
approved by shareholders in the Annual General Meeting held on May
19, 2009.

3. The auditors
have conducted a "Limited Review" of the above
financial results for the quarter
ended on June 30, 2009.

4. The figures of Employee Cost, Other
Expenditure and interest are
net of amount capitalised during the respective periods.

5.
The figures of the previous
year/ periods have been regrouped/ reclassified, wherever
necessary.
