dear..it cannot be a swap..that would mean delisting of zee news..which is not the case..all shareholders will get 4 additional shares of zee entertainment for 19 shares held in zee news...this is in lieu of transfer of regional channels to zee entertainment..swap should be taken only in that sense ie swap of regional channels with zee entertainment shares..its great for stock as all media company`s are hiking add rates and this one should touch Rs 80 by dec end as 1st jan 2010 is effective date for getting zee entertainment shares. ...

Its not a swap, Zee news shareholders will get 4 additional shares of every 19 shares held in zee news. So your zee news shares remain intact. It was announced to be effective 1 jan 2010...
