(2) Annual General Meeting of the members of Company for the financial year 2008-09 is scheduled to held on December 17, 2009 as per notice to be circulated to the members separately to transact, interalia, the following businesses: (a) To consider the appointment of M/s. Deloitte Haskins & Sells, Chartered Accountants as statutory auditors of the Company in place of M/s. A.F. Ferguson & Co., Chartered Accounts, the retiring statutory auditors of the Company. (b) Issue of warrants convertible into equity shares of the Company in accordance with Chapter VII of Securities and Exchange Board of India (Issue of Capital and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations 2009. The Allotment committee of the Board of Directors of the Company is authorized to determine the quantum and price of warrants based on the relevant date under aforesaid Regulations. Simbhaoli Sugars Ltd has informed BSE that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on November 11, 2009, inter alia, has transacted and approved the following:
1. Redemption of 432000 preference shares of Rs. 100/- each held by a preference shareholder.
2. Annual General Meeting of the members of Company for the financial year 2008-09 is scheduled to held on December 17, 2009, inter alia, to transact, the following businesses:
