the record date is not yet finalised... so no bonus shares till then... people are getting confused with the gujarat nre mineral and gujarat nre coke... the bonus credited is for gujarat nre mineral... for gujarat nre coke the record date is yet to be finalised......

I havent received any bonus in any name till today 10 AM. Can anybody please let me know when is this expected. Is there any time frame or range.
And please also let me know its trading code for NSE.

Bonus shares will credited after the declaration of Record date. It means at the time of record date you must have some shares in your account....

Gujarat NRE Coke Ltd has informed BSE that members of the Company, by way of Postal Ballot, have passed the following resolutions with requisite majority :

1. Issue of "B" Equity Shares of Rs. 10/- each credited as fully paid up bonus shares to the holders of existing Equity Shares of the Company.

2. Issuance of Securities (including Foreign Currency Convertible Bonds) for an amount not exceeding USD 60 million or INR 300 crores whichever is higher.

3. Issue of Convertible Warrants to Promoters / Promoters Group Companies on a Private
Placement / Preferential Basis....

gnre mineral...bonus shares??? will gnre coke share holders get the bonus shares??? if yes, what is the record date... what is the ratio... if you can shed some light on that it would be really helpful......

guj nre mineral is a non listed entity shares were were on preferencial basis to the share holder of guj nre coke guj nre mineral has recently given 1:1 bonus and just been transferred to demat account guj nre coke a listed entity has also recommended bonus but of limited voting right which yet to be credited in our demat account definitely they will have distinguished identity and listing pls do not be confused between these two entities hope clear to dear boarders ...

The issue of bonus shares by GUJ NRE is little confusing.As I understand -
1 The ratio of bonus shares is 1 for 10.
2 The bonus shares are called B shares and they have 1/100th voting rights compared to normal equity shares
3 The required resolution was to be passed by the share holders by postal ballot.The last date for receiving the ballots is 16th Nov.`09. So now the ex bonus date and record date will be announced.
4 It is not clear whether the B shares will be listed seperately, when thy will be listed, and will these shares trade at a discount to the normal shares.
5 To make the whole thing more confusing GNMRL, a assosiate company of GUJ NRE is issuing bonus shares to its non prpmoter shareholders !!
Is it better to get out of GUJ NRE , and review , when the dust settles? Can some knowledgable boarders throw light on the matter?...
