I again got offers @2500 now from a broker. What is the modus operandi here. Some one will buy the shares from these brokers and sell it to SingTel at 24-30K?

from where do these brokers get our address,even if the shares are in physical form ,is it not unethical to leak out information about share holders. Mr bharti should have also helped small investors to get some value for there investment rather than reaping all the benefits ...
So the brokers who bought these share at 2000-3000 rupees are selling it now at 20,000 plus !!...
If Bharati group offer this opportunity for exit of minority share holders, the group`s reputation will grow and they will again shine in the market....

Singapore Telecommunications (SingTel) has bought an additional 1.52 per cent stake in India’s largest private telecom Bharti Airtel and will pay up to Rs 3008.4 crore in three installments ranging over 18 months.
In a notice to Singapore Stock Exchange, SingTel said it has entered into a conditional share purchase agreement with Bharti Group entity to buy an additional 7,30,000 issued shares in Bharti Telecom, a promoter company of Bharti Airtel.
“The acquisition is in line with SingTel’s strategic focus on maximising the value of its existing businesses,” the company said.
SingTel’s wholly-owned subsidiary Pastel will pay between Rs 1807.3 crore to Rs 3,008.4 crore, depending upon prevailing market prices for Airtel shares.
Going by the said transaction value, Bharti Airtel has been valued in the range between Rs 1.18 lakh crore and Rs 1.97 lakh crore.

I sometimes wonder why our leaened friends who talk so much on all channels on TV never discuss such issues where samll investors are genuinly affected. Are all spokesmen of the industrialists. I thinh SEBI should probe such matters and pull up persons like Mr. Sunil Mittal.Even CNBC is quite about this issue WHY????????????????????...
