Around January 09, I too received a similar offer to buy Jaiprakash Enterprises (Rs. 10 share) at Rs. 20. I did some research on the net and Nseindia and found that each share of JPEnterprises will get me 3 shares of Jaiprakash Associates. I ended up with a 3.5 lakh kitty instead of just 30,000 bucks.

Similarly, Novartis was also offered around Rs. 450 whereas the price now is around 500+ levels.

So, whenever you receive such offers, please do total research and save yourself by losing opportunities of making money by going with such offers.

As such the board has been getting suggestions for a bonus for the last few quarters. Moreover the company sits on a reserve of close to 200 cr , and equity of 5.65 cr setting up a ripe position for such a move .. In any case a sound investment for the long term . Value of their investments is close to Rs.400 per share as well .. Hold on .. ...

It is a Gold mine for investors. I agree that its short to medium term target is around 2000+, whereas I believe that its long term target is 3300. One has to have patience and hold it for long term.....
