SME entrepreneurs in Chandigarh were delivered an evening of enterprise solutions, finance schemes and technology solutions at the SME Mentor Growth Series seminars held at the Chandigarh Ashok. The event was hosted by Moneycontrol.com.

The session was opened by George D'Souza, vice president - Content solutions, Moneycontrol.com, who talked about the various hurdles that owners of small and medium enterprises have to cross in taking their companies from good to great companies.

At the event, attended by over 40 SME owners, Nitin Bhandari, AVP - NPD and partnerships, Vodafone, unveiled the enterprise solutions. He shared an example of a Blackberry-based solution used by a Kanpur-based dairy company, Tasty Dairy that had helped the company get instant customer feedback.

Religare Finvest's vice president - North - presented various financial schemes that Religare Finvest has created for financing small and medium enterprises. He said that Religare provided unsecured loans without collateral to SMEs with good balance sheet and with at least five years of equity.

Vipul Mishra, Dell's territory account manager, talked of Dell's technology products. He quoted Steve Hassell, Emerson's VP and CTO, who said virtualization on Dell's platforms, gives Emerson agility to help internal customers respond to business opportunities.
