► These Rules & regulations, are applicable to and govern the "Financial Technology Awards 2017" organized and conducted by TV18

► By participating in the Awards, Participant agrees to abide by and be bound by these Rules. These Rules & regulations may be modified without any prior notification. Participant is advised to regularly review these Rules. If there is any disagreement with any of the Rules & regulations and any amendments thereto, Participant must not participate or withdraw application from the Awards

Awards Objective To create a platform which recognizes and honors organization and individual who have created a benchmark in the financial technology space. It will celebrate the milestones who have demonstrated leadership and been at the forefront of driving change in the segment in India

Innovator of the Year

Organizations that have at least 1 year registered presence in India as on March 31, 2017

Organizations across FinTech, including banks/NBFC which create highly innovative integrations and producing changes in the existing industry

Collaboration of the year

Organizations that have at least 1 year registered presence in India as on March 31, 2017

Specific projects, products or services which showcase how a bank/NBFC firm have worked together in collaboration

Emerging SME Lending platform

Organizations that have at least 1 year and less than 10 years registered presence in India as on March 31, 2017

Minimum turnover of INR 25 crores

Innovation in product and service which provides solutions and demonstrated the greatest potential to impact the future of small business lending

Wealth, Asset and Investment Management

Award for business associates individual who have actively promoting the growth of the FinTech contributing significantly by adopting technology platform

Disruptive Innovator of the Year

Disruptive Innovator of the Year, which will be evaluated across all the parameters such as operational excellences, customer service satisfaction, unique innovative idea, use of technology, inclusive growth, sustainable developments and demonstrate measurable impact.

► The Award categories may be changed / modified / split / merged / increased or cancelled by the Jury based on the number and quality of entries received in each category

► In the event that no Participant in a category is found to be worthy of inclusion by the Jury, the Award category may be cancelled by the Jury. The Jury may decide to add nominees in the category to maintain high standards of participation. The decision of the Jury in this regard will be final and non-contestable. The Awards management will not entertain any queries in this regard

Eligibility criteria for participation in the Awards

► Organizations applying for the Awards should be Indian entities / Indian citizens with a registered

presence in India.

► The Initiative should be completely executed/implemented in the Indian operations of the participant organization

► Organizations that have at least 1 year registered presence in India as on March 31, 2017

► The innovation/initiative can be product / service / project / process / procedure / methodology

► The innovation/initiative entered for the Awards must be already implemented and should not be in a planning or conceptualizing stage

► The impact of the innovation /initiative for the period April 1, 2016 to March 31, 2017 should be elaborated/demonstrated in the application form

► Employees and immediate family members of the award management, sponsors and partners of the awards are not allowed to participate in the Awards.

► An Organization cannot participate on behalf of its sister units; parent organization or other organizations under the parent organization

► The initiative/innovation can be a technology/ product / service / project / process / procedure / methodology etc.

► The final eligibility of the Participant will be subject to the discretion and approval of the Jury

NOTE -

► The Jury may modify the eligibility criteria from time to time with retrospective effect

► The Jury holds the right to disqualify any application which does not meet the eligibility criteria without assigning any reason whatsoever

Timelines

► Efforts will be made to adhere to the defined timelines. However, the defined timelines are subject to change based on circumstances.

► Awards Management and its sub-contractors shall not be held accountable / liable for any disruptions / stoppages / interruptions or cancellation of the Awards or its ceremony or any part of its processes or public voting on account of any factors beyond its control.

Completeness of entries and disqualification

► All mandatory fields of the application form needs to be complete in all respects; else it may be disqualified from participation. Once completed, the form needs to be signed by an authorized signatory from the participant organization (from amongst the senior management)

► Applicant can provide more than one entry in an award category if the entries are for different initiatives. A separate application form must be used for each initiative

► Jury has right to reclassify Application Forms from one award category to another, at its discretion. This is not contestable in any manner.

► Application forms must be filled in English only

► The details in the form should be typed

► Participant need to select the relevant Award category in which they need to apply

► Participant need to accept the Rules & regulations at the end of the application form to submit their entry.

► The declaration must be signed by an authorized signatory from the Applicant organization (from amongst the MD, CEO, COO, chairman, proprietor, directors, etc)

► Participants can provide up to 3 supporting material to assist the jury in evaluating their application such as photos, articles, awards and accolades and other material can be submitted for each entry on a non-returnable basis in the "Attachments" section (Maximum size that can be uploaded is 2 MB).

► Disqualification of entries is at the sole discretion of jury, on a case by case basis. The said disqualification will be as per the rules and regulations defined for the Awards.

► If at any time, including after the conclusion of any of the Award ceremonies, any information provided by any Participant(s), is found to be incorrect in any manner, then the Participant will be liable to be disqualified and / or return the Award and the monetary emoluments provided to the Participant under this Award, if any. Awards Management may also take penal action against the Participant for providing false information to participate in the Awards

► Determination of whether information provided by the Applicant is incorrect or not rests with jury

Call for Entries & Participation

► The call for entries for the Awards will be announced in one or more media platforms and / or by direct communication with potential Participants, and that shall be construed to be adequate notice for call for entries

► If, multiple partners apply for the same initiative/innovation, then they should agree amongst themselves who would be the rightful owner of the initiative/innovation. The Award's management or any of its partners will not be involved in deciding the same.

► Each Application Form can be used only for a single entry in a particular category. If additional Application Forms are required, a photocopy of the Application Form can be taken or downloaded from the website http://www.moneycontrol.com/rubique/application-form by following the instructions mentioned on the website

► The Jury may decide to add nominees in the category to maintain high standards of participation. The decision of the Jury in this regard will be final and non-contestable. The Awards management will not entertain any queries in this regard

► A participating organization can send entries in more than one award category or apply multiple times in the same category provided it is for a separate innovation /project / initiative. A separate form should be used for each application entry. One form or same information cannot be used for multiple projects / initiatives. However, if multiple forms are filled for the same initiative are filled then only the one form will be considered for the evaluation of the Awards and this will be at the discretion of the Jury and/or Awards Management.

► In case if Participant fails to submit the proof of registration in the country, they may be disqualified from participation.

Receipt of entries

► Participation in the Awards in any manner will be construed as an acceptance to the rules and regulations stated herein

► A participant can apply for the 'Financial Technology Awards 2017' through either of the 3 steps mentioned below:- 1. By logging on to the website http://www.moneycontrol.com/rubique/application-form#gl and completing application form along with the supporting documents directly on the website 2. By emailing the completed application to this email id fintechedgeawards@acquist.org ; subject line of the email should be: Financial Technology Awards _[Name of category]_ [Name of the company]

► Receipt of Application Forms after last date of receipt specified may be permitted only at the discretion of the Awards Management

► Awards Management will not be responsible for Application Forms that are received in an incorrect format / late / corrupt etc

Additional Information

► Participants may be contacted for any additional information or / and conduct field visit to verify the information provided. Such information sourced from the Participants will become part of the original application

► Awards Management has the right to ask for documentary proof of information. If such a request is made and the Participant does not comply within 3 working days from the date the request is made, the Participant may be disqualified from participation in the Awards

► Information provided by the Participant will be confidential and will be used only for the limited purpose of evaluating the Participant's entry to these Awards

► Awards Management or team appointed by Awards Management will try to contact the Participant on best effort basis by any means deemed appropriate

► In the event it is not possible to contact any Participant to obtain information on them, interview them, etc. such Participant may be disqualified from further participation

► The participant hereby irrevocably authorizes the Awards Management to use the data gathered during and/or the Awards in respect of the participants. This shall be the property of TV18 and TV18 shall be entitled to use the same in its communications including marketing promotions and advertisements along with/without TV18's brand. Awards Management shall not be liable in any manner for any mishap, accident, injury or damages etc. of whatsoever nature, caused to the participants during the Awards. Further, Awards Management shall not be liable in any manner for any loss, damage, theft, or any other mishap caused during the Awards

Short-listing nominees for each award category from applications received

► Application Forms received would be collated under each award category for evaluation by Awards Management

► Determination of the Award category to which an application belongs is at the discretion of the Jury

► Awards Management reserves the right to make the final judgment in case of any ambiguity in Rules and Regulations / disputes over suitability

► The Initial Jury will select top Nominees/Finalists per Award category based on pre-defined evaluation parameters who will qualify for the final round

► Short-listed participants will be contacted by TV18 to inform them of their shortlisting. Post shortlisting, the shortlisted entries will be provided with the date, venue and presentation format in which they would be required to present their application and case study to the final Jury. Only senior level management leading the initiatives of short-listed nominees would be required to make the presentation in front of final Jury. The cost of travel incurred by participants, if any, would need to be borne by the participant.

► In the event it is not possible to contact any participants to obtain information, interview them, etc, such entry may be disqualified from further participation

► The decision of the above short-listing is binding and final on all participants

Determination of the Winners

► The final jury will score / rank the Nominees on predefined evaluation parameters, based on the application form / presentation submitted by the participants

► The finalists would be required to present their case studies to the Final Jury who will determine the final winners by giving scores

► Participants will be notified on contact details mentioned on the application form only, by the Awards Management on best effort basis by any means deemed appropriate

► Awards management will not be responsible if the notifications are lost in transit / received late by the Participant / damaged or any other reason

► Only Senior Management representatives of shortlisted organizations can make the presentation in front of the Final Jury. The cost of travel incurred by Participants, if any, would need to be borne by the Participant

► There could be one or more winners in each award category, at the discretion of the Jury

► The determination of who should receive an award for any award category rests with the Jury

► The Jury's decision is final and binding on all nominees

General

► Participant agrees that the Participant is legally capable of entering and, if selected, participating in the Awards and agree to the Rules

► Participant understands and agrees that merely participating in this Awards does not entitle the Participant to a prize or to any other form of consideration

► Participant warrants and represents to the Awards Management that all information including any communications, software, photos, text, video, graphics, music, sounds, images and other material submitted or recorded in any manner by the Participant or the partners of Awards Management including Awards Management for consideration for the Awards are solely owned by the Awards Management and do not infringe upon any other individual or organizational rights (including, without limitation, intellectual property rights). Participant shall be completely responsible for handling any infringement or alleged infringement and shall indemnify the TV18, and the Awards Management from any claims, costs or damages from infringement or alleged infringement of the logo or trademark or the defense of a claim or any costs payable thereof.

► Participant must enter the Awards at their own will and the Awards Management are not in any way obligated or liable for any loss or costs that the Participant may suffer or incur and nothing is payable to the Participants for participating in the Awards or any event prior to or following the Awards

► Participants for the purpose of entering the Awards, automatically grants TV18 a royalty-free, irrevocable, worldwide, non-transferable, non-exclusive right and license to use and display such entry, for participation in the Awards, and any intellectual property in relation to and arising out of such participation in the Awards and footage thereof, which shall include trade publications, press releases, electronic posting to the Website, the TV18 website in any display format selected by TV18 during the Awards or use by TV18 as it deems fit.

► The Awards Management reserves the right to, at its discretion, withdraw or amend or add to the Rules & Regulations of the Awards at any time, with prospective or retrospective effect, and does not take responsibility for any loss or damage that any individual or organization may suffer as a result of participating or attempting to participate in the Awards, the Awards being withdrawn or its rules amended

► Should a Participant wish to withdraw from the Awards, kindly inform Awards management in writing at any time up to one week prior to the final awards ceremony

► All disputes relating to or arising out of the Awards shall be subject to the laws of India, and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of competent jurisdiction at Delhi, India

► The Participants indemnify TV18, its employees, officers, contractors, partner or other persons used by them in relation to this Awards and hold them harmless against any loss, claim, demands, costs, damages, judgments, expenses or liability (including legal costs) arising out of or in connection with any or all claims, that may be brought against the Awards Management by any third party in connection with the Participants participation in or winning the Awards, which is inconsistent with any of the warranties and representations made by the Participants, or due to breach of these Rules and shall reimburse TV18 for any loss, costs, expense, or damage to which said indemnity applies. TV18 shall give the Participant prompt written notice of any claim or actions covered by this indemnity, and the Participant shall have the right, at its own expense, to participate in any such action

► Decision of Awards Management on all matters is final and binding on all Participants and no correspondence will be entertained on the same

► In the event these Rules & Regulations do not cover any question or complaint in relation to the Awards, the same will be concluded on by the Awards Management (for all other issues) or an independent body or legal team as appointed by the Awards Management and deemed necessary

► The Participant agrees to give full consent unconditionally for TV18 to share any information provided by the Participant with agencies working with them with regards to the program, its recording and broadcasting and related activities including agencies involved with TV18

► The decision of TV18 in relation to the interpretation of any of these Rules & Regulations shall be final and binding on the participants

► If Participants are unclear as to the Rules & Regulations or any element of the Awards or have any queries/concerns pertaining to the Awards, they can write in with their questions, concerns or queries to the following address: TV18, Empire Complex, 1st Floor, 414 Senapati Bapat Marg, Lower Parel, Near Kamla Mills, Mumbai, Maharashtra 400013 fintechedgeawards@acquist.org TV18 shall endeavour to the best of its ability to respond thereto.

Website

► The website is only an informational website http://www.moneycontrol.com/rubique/application-form (the "Website") for the Awards. TV18 is not liable or responsible for any action or decision taken by Participant or anyone acting on Participant's behalf or under Participant employment or under contract with Participant. TV18 shall not be under any obligation to Participant and Participant shall have no obligation or rights in relation to the Awards and shall have no claims whatsoever against the TV18 relating to the selection process or the running of the Awards

► TV18 shall not be responsible for: i. any delivery, failures relating to the registration or uploading videos/presentations; ii. any SPAM generated messages as result of Participant accessing the Website; iii. Awards Management not receiving or rejecting any data; iv. any lost, late or misdirected computer transmission or network, electronic failures of any kind or any failure to receive entries owing to transmission failures or due to any technical reasons and v. Other conditions/situations or failures beyond its control.

Public Voting

► Public Voting will be conducted for categories decided by the management and Jury members.

► Voting can be done by logging onto the website www.moneycontrol.com/rubique/ individuals need to vote on the shortlisted finalist already embedded on the website for both the categories. No other additional nominees would be accepted from the individuals

► All applicable internet charges would be borne by the participant. In no case shall the Awards management be held responsible for any dispute between the participant and the service provider (Internet Company). Awards management does not take any responsibility of failures occurring with any response mechanisms depending on performance of third parties.

► Votes received outside the specified times and procedure will not be counted.

► Only one vote is permitted per person or entity of each of the aforesaid Award categories. Any multiple votes will be disqualified. Votes received for a team that does not qualify or fall under the Eligibility criteria would be disregarded and the same would not be entertained.

► All votes must be received by on the closing date on 8th November 2017 11:59pm

► Awards management reserves the right to cancel or suspend voting at any time without assigning any reasons whatsoever.

► Awards management reserves the right to disqualify votes if it has reasonable grounds to suspect that fraudulent voting has occurred or if it considers there has been any attempt to rig the voting.

► Awards management, it directors, officers, subsidiaries and/or agencies and/or sponsors cannot accept any responsibility whatsoever for any technical failure or malfunction or any other problem with any network or line, system, server, provider or otherwise which may result in any vote being lost or not properly registered or recorded.

► The prize is neither transferable, nor can they be exchanged for cash. If you are declared a Winner you shall be required to submit a valid proof for validation of claims in the application.

► Awards management makes no representation or gives no assurance as regards the different categories or votes of any public in general and shall not be responsible for the same in any way or manner whatsoever.

► Awards management shall not be responsible for any computer/ systems/ or any other related breakdowns/failures which might result in your non-participation in voting for the Participant category.

► Contact with the winner of the contest will be made on best effort basis. Awards management has a right to declare alternate participants who has participated in the contest as the winner(s) in case if not contactable.

► Awards management cannot be held responsible if the participant is not contactable through the information provided while participating in the contest.

► All right, title and interest including but not limited to the Intellectual Property Rights in the promotional material(s) and any/all registrations received shall vest solely and exclusively with Awards management at all times and Awards management shall be entitled to use the database of the entries received or any information in any media for future promotional, marketing and publicity purpose without any further reference or payment or compensation to the you as a participant.

► Awards management reserves the right to change, defer, alter or cancel this Public Voting in part or full, or change any or all of the terms and conditions that are applicable, without giving prior intimation/ notice of any kind and will not be liable for any consequential losses/damages. Decision of Awards management in this regard and in general with respect to the Public Voting and the Terms & Conditions thereto shall be final, binding and non-contestable.

► Nothing contained herein amounts to a commitment or representation by Awards management to conduct further or other such events

► The winner/s as the case may be must, at the request of Awards management, participate in all promotional activity (such as publicity and photography) surrounding the winning of the prize, free of charge, and they consent to Awards management using their name and image in promotional material

► None of the provisions of these terms and conditions shall be deemed to constitute a partnership or agency between the individuals and Awards management and individuals shall have no authority to bind Awards management in any manner whatsoever

► By sending an SMS or accessing the website or Facebook, individuals agrees to accept all the terms and conditions stated herein

► Awards management accepts no liability for any errors or omissions, whether on behalf of itself or any third parties.

► Awards management is not responsible for any system failure or breakdown on the website or otherwise

► In no event shall Awards management be liable for losses or any incidental or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the Public Voting, its services or this agreement (however arising, including negligence). Awards management shall not be responsible for any product or service liability of any kind.

► The decision of Awards management shall be final and binding in all regards and no communication shall be entertained in this regard.

► All right, title and interest in the data received, promotional material(s) and any/all registrations received shall vest solely and exclusively with Awards management at all times.

► Individuals shall be solely responsible for any consequences which may arise due to any kind of infringement of copyrights or any kind of intellectual property rights belonging to any other person/ entity etc. and also undertake to indemnify Awards management and its officers, directors, employees etc on the happening of such an event (including without limitation cost of attorney, legal charges etc.) on full indemnity basis.

► Awards management accepts no responsibility for late, lost, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, delayed, illegible, corrupted or misdirected entries, claims or correspondence whether due to error, omission, alteration, tampering, unauthorized data hacking, deletion, theft, destruction, virus attack, transmission interruption, communications failure, hardware failure or otherwise. Awards management has no control over communications networks or lines and none of them accepts any responsibility for any problems associated with them, whether due to traffic congestion, technical malfunction or otherwise. Awards management is not liable for any consequences of user error including (without limitation) costs incurred.

► The information is deemed to be voluntarily supplied during the course of you voting for the Public Voting and /or personal information provided by the winner/s as non-confidential, which hereby discharges all obligations of confidentiality. Awards management shall be free to reproduce, use, disclose and distribute the information to third parties without limitation.

Disclaimers

► Awards Management has no obligation to screen the entry material in advance, and is not responsible for monitoring entries for the purpose of preventing violation of intellectual property ownership rights, or violations of any law, rule or regulation. If Awards Management is notified of submissions or materials that may not conform to the Rules, it may investigate the allegation and determine in good faith and in its sole discretion whether to eliminate such an entry from consideration. The Awards Management has no liability or responsibility to Participants or other users of the Website for performance or non-performance of such activities.
