An Alaska Airlines flight was forced to return back to the airport after an unclothed passenger locked himself inside the bathroom in the plane. The man was later escorted from the plane by the law enforcement authorities.
According to a report in Daily Mail, the incident took place on Wednesday on an Alaska Airlines flight. The flight was carrying 178 passengers to Seattle from Anchorage when the trouble started to begin. While the crew told Police that they had to return as the man started to ignore their instructions, some statements by passengers indicate that there was more to this.
“He had taken off his clothes and he just wasn't in his right mind,” a passenger named Kate Danyluk was quoted saying in the report adding that several men surrounded the bathroom before the man was taken off from the plane.
However, no further details are yet available including whether the man has been arrested, as the carrier tried to downplay the entire incident. “Alaska Airlines flight 146 from Anchorage to Seattle returned to Anchorage due to a passenger not following flight attendant's instructions," spokesman Tim Thompson said in an email as per the report.The incident is definitely not a good news to the carrier that is already under scanner after one of its pilots pleaded guilty for piloting a plane under the influence of alcohol.
