Baripada (Odisha), Feb 9 (PTI) Youth Congress workers shouted slogans criticising the party's district leadership when AICC Odisha in-charge Jagdish Tytler was to address a campaign meeting for the ensuing panchayat polls in Mayurbhanj district today. Appeal by leaders including Odisha Pradesh Congress President Niranjan Patnaik had no impact on the angry YC members who alleged that the right candidates were not given ticket for the three-tier rural polls. Tytler came down from the dais to silence the party workers and finally left the venue without addressing the meeting. Earlier Tytler, Patnaik and other senior leaders addressed election meetings at Podadihi, Thakurmunda, Tato and Bangirposi in the district.
