Kota (Rajasthan), Dec 17 (PTI) A woman, admitted in women's ward of Jhalwara medical college here, has given birth to quadruplets. Dwarka Bai, a native of Barkehda area of the district, today delivered four girls, hospital sources said. "Such cases are very rare," said Dr Ritu Gupta. Chances of a woman delivering quadruplets is one in five lakh and twelve thousand, said Dr Gupta, adding that, the childbirth occurred after full nine months of pregnancy, which is also rare in such cases. All were born in a span of two minutes. It was a cesarean-section birth. Newborns and the mother are safe, the doctor said. PTI Corr SHS
