BRITAIN-RAUSING:Wife of Tetra Pak heir feared dead in London
LONDON (Reuters) - A dead body believed to be that of Eva Rausing, wife of the heir to the multi-billion dollar Tetra Pak packaging empire, was found in a house in west London, and a man has been arrested, a police source said on Tuesday. London police said they could not officially confirm Rausing's death, but said officers had found a body on Monday at an address in Cadogan Place in the upmarket Belgravia area of the British capital. They said the death was being treated as unexplained and the discovery had followed the arrest of a 49-year-old man on suspicion of possession of drugs. "We believe we know the identity of the deceased but await further confirmation," a Metropolitan Police spokesman said. "The man was further arrested in connection with the death and is currently in custody at a south London police station." A police source told Reuters officers believed the body was Eva Rausing. American Rausing and her husband Hans Kristian, whose Swedish father Hans is worth 4.3 billion pounds according to the Sunday Times rich list, have both battled with drug problems in the past, media reports said. They were arrested in 2008 on suspicion of possessing cocaine and heroin after Eva Rausing was caught reportedly trying to smuggle the drugs into the U.S. embassy in London, but charges were later dropped. "I have made a grave error and consider myself to have taken a wrong turn in the course of my life," Eva Rausing, whose father is a former Pepsi executive, told media at the time.
