Two killed in factory mishap in MP

Mhow (MP), Nov 15 (PTI) Two persons were killed and six others injured after they suffered acid burns in a soya oil factory in Pithampur here, police said. The mishap took place when about a dozen workers started their daily work at about 8 AM in Divya Jyoti factory situated near Indorama factory in Sector III. Around 9.30 AM, one of the workers slipped into the acid tank meant for cleaning the soya seeds before processing for refined oil manufacturing. Another worker tried to help him out but he also lost his balance and fell inside the tank. Thereafter, both of them were taken out from the tank, in which six others were also injured. All of them were brought to a private hospital here where two were declared brought dead while others are undergoing treatment.
