TVS and Sons to focus more on Tier II& III cities

Chennai, Feb 8 (PTI): TVS and Sons, distributors of heavy vehicle manufacturer Ashok Leyland today said it would focus more on opening new dealerships in Tier II and III cities. Speaking after inaugurating the company's state-of-the-art dealership for Ashok Leyland in Madurai and Salem today, TVS and Sons President N Krishnamoorthy said, "Going forward, we would be looking to establish more facilities in Tier II and III locations within a grid of 50 to 100 kms to serve customers better". Besides increasing the dealership networks, the company had also taken up many improvement initiatives in commercial vehicle servicing, he said. The new facilies are spread across 66,000 square feet and 48,000 square feet respectively. With these new facilities, the number of facilities has risen to 65 across India.
