Ghaziabad, Feb 9 (PTI) A student of a local polytechnic was crushed to death by a truck near silver city here last evening. Krishan Kumar (28) was travelling on a motorcycle with his friend, Naveen, when the speeding truck hit their bike, injuring both of them seriously. While Kumar succumbed to his injuries in a hospital, the condition of Naveen was said to be serious. The police has arrested the driver and sent him to jail. Meanwhile, in another incident the police arrested three persons for looting Rs 68,000 and a car from an engineer, Rakesh Arora, in Sahibabad. The police arrested Ashu and Tuher from Bhivani in Haryana and recovered car from their possession while the third accused, Rahim, was arrested from Ghaziabad. After bringing the accused from Bhivani to Ghaziabad, all three would be interrogated, the police said. PTI COR ASY
