Timber seized

Hazaribagh (Jharkhand), Apr 24 (PTI) Timber worth about Rs 12 lakh was seized from the Gautam Buddha Wild Life Sanctuary near NH-2 in Hazaribagh district today, forest department sources said. The timber was seized by a team of forest officials during a raid after being tipped off, DFO R N Mishra said. In total, 205 pieces of thick logs which were ready to be transported were seized.
