Kohima, Feb 18 (PTI) The body of a timber merchant, who was abducted from his Dimapur residence by unidentified people on February 15, was recovered from a place near here, police said today. Vikugha Zhimomi (30) was abducted by two unidentified persons three days ago and his body was found at Vihoto along the Dimapur-Jalukie road yesterday. The body, bearing bullet marks on the head, was first spotted by some farmers of the village and they informed the police. Police said the abductors also took away a laptop and three mobile handsets from the victimÂ's residence. Police suspected it a case of abduction for ransom because the abductors reportedly asked the victim to arrange money through his friends in the town. PTI AP PR PR
