BEIRUT (Reuters) - Syrian forces killed at least 13 people in the city of Homs early on Thursday, activists said, as they sustained a bombardment of the heart of a revolt against President Bashar al-Assad.
"There are 12 people killed in Baba Amro, and one in Khalidiya," said Rami Abdulrahman of the British-based opposition Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, referring to two Homs districts which have borne the brunt of the latest assault.
