Teenage girls commit suicide

Salem, Jan8 (PTI) Upset over ther parents' scolding them for poor marks,two teenage girls allegedly committed suicide by consuming poison near here, police said today. Their bodies were found in the Mariamman temple last night, police said. The girls, aged 14 and 13, did not do well in the half-yearly exams and their parents, who are labourers, had scolded them, police said. A bottle of poison was found near their bodies.PTI COR BN
