Auraiya, Feb 17 (PTI) Dubbing SP as a party sympathetic to terror outfits and Mayawati as a person interested only in amassing wealth, BJP chief Nitin Gadkari today asked people to vote for his party for good governance. "Samajwadi Party is a party sympathising with goondas and terror organisations like SIMI while Mayawati is only interested in gathering money," Gadkari said addressing an election meeting here. Attacking Union Law Minister Salman Khurshid, who promised 9 per cent quota to Muslims, Gadkari called him communal. Referring to Khurshid's statement that Batla House encounter had left Congress president Sonia Gandhi in tears, he said it was indicative of the party's appeasement policy. He said the Centre was still dragging its feet over capital punishment to Parliament attack convict Afzal Guru because of this policy of the Centre. On the 2G spectrum case, he said Raja is not the only culprit but some senior Congress leaders were also involved. Ridiculing Rahul Gandhi for tearing up a list of opposition parties' poll promises, he called it an expression of the young Congress leader's frustration and said after some time he could also tear off his clothes. He also attacked Mayawati for "siphoning off" funds meant for development and Samajwadi Party for its promise to hike Muslim reservation to 18 per cent.
