Sibal asks students to help the poor

Agartala, Feb 10 (PTI) Union Minister for Human Resource Development, Kapil Sibal today asked students to utilise their skills and knowledge for uplift of the poor and marginalized people of the country. Addressing the 4th convocation of National Institute of Technology (NIT), Agartala, Sibal said the students who have graduated from institutions like NIT should come forward to utilise their skill and knowledge to build a strong nation and help the poor and the marginalized people. Former chairman of Indian Space Research Organisation(ISRO) U R Rao was conferred the Honoris Causa Doctor of Science in the occasion. Among others Tripura Governor D Y Patil and Minister for Public Works Department (PWD) Badal Chowdhury also spoke at the occasion. PTI JOY KK
