Senior naval officer calls on TN Chief Secretary

Chennai, Jun 8 (PTI) A senior naval officer called on the Chief Secretary of the government of Tamil Nadu. Vice Admiral Sunil Lanba, Chief of Staff of Eastern Naval Command, met the Chief Secretary and discussed the matters of maritime interest with a thrust on coastal security, a defence release said. Lanba, who visited naval ships and establishments at Chennai, later left for naval air station INS Rajali at Arakkonam. He would review the passing out parade of the helicopter pilots at Arakkonam on June 9, it added.
