New Delhi, Feb 21 (PTI) The Supreme Court today issued notice to NOIDA authority seeking its response on a petition by doctors of the city that their clinics in residential areas should not be sealed. A bench headed by Justice Swatanter Kumar asked the authority to file its response on the plea by March 16 when the matter would be taken up for further hearing. In a breather to commercial banks facing imminent closure in residential areas of Noida, the Supreme Court had on February 2 stayed for six weeks sealing of their premises by the authority. The bench had granted six weeks' time to the Noida Authority CEO to provide alternative sites to the banks which, in compliance with the apex court's earlier directive, had stopped operating from NCRs residential areas.
