Sandalwood worth Rs 6 crore seized in Rajkot district

Rajkot, Dec 19 (PTI) A huge stock of sandalwood was today seized in a joint operation by Customs and local police at Tankara town in the district. Customs officials from Gandhidham, with the help of local police, raided a godown at Latipar on the outskirts of Tankara and seized sandalwood with market value of Rs 6 crore, police said. A couple of persons were being interrogated in this connection, police added. PTI VJA PAZ KRK
