Indore, Feb 13 (PTI) The wife of Kamal Chouhan, who has been taken into custody by NIA in connection with 2007 Samjhauta Express blast, today moved the Madhya Pradesh High Court's Indore bench against the arrest of her husband. According to petitioner Seema Chouhan, her husband went missing from their house in Murkhera, 45 km from here, on February 9. "It is a habeas corpus writ. Kamal's wife has sought explanation of illegal and deliberate detention of her husband, about which the family came to know through the media only yesterday," said her lawyer, Amit Sisodiya. The petition alleges that the family was kept completely in the dark about the arrest. It may come up for hearing this week, the lawyer said. According to NIA sources, Kamal is believed to be a close aide of Ramji Kalsangra and Sandeep Dange, key accused in the case, who are still absconding. Other accused in the case include Swami Aseemanand, Sadhvi Pragya, Sunil Joshi (now dead) and Lokesh Sharma. Sixty-eight people were killed in the blast on the Delhi-Lahore Samjhauta train in February 2007.
