Kozhikode, Dec 9 (PTI): Sajan Surya and Asha Sarath have bagged the best actor and actress television artiste awards for this year, instituted by magazine 'film city masika'. They bagged the award for their roles in 'Kumkumappoovu' telecast in Asianet channel, Illikketu Namboodiri, jury panel Chairman told reporters here. Film and serial actor G K Pillai has been chosen for the 'Special Jury Award' for his role in the serial, he said. 'Best' male supporting actor award was bagged by Kollam Sha (Allavudinte Athbuthavilakku) and Kalabhavan Jinto (Chakravakam), while the award in the female category was won by Sreekala (Ardhachandrante Rathri) and Swati (Kadamattathachan). Kishore (Chakkarabharani) and Stella Raja (chakkarabharani) had bagged the 'best' comedy artist awards in the male and female section respectively, he said.
